I love most of BBi's products, but didn't care for the Cy Com concept much (I prefer 1/6 scale human figures). A long time ago I saw two of these figures at a Game Stop on sale (50% off $39.99). I told my friend (Gareee) about them - he collects them, but since he already had the two I saw he told me to hold off until they went lower.

Last month all the clearance toys at this store disappeared without a trace. What...the...hell? I failed to deliver? I missed out on a deal? ****!!!

I hadn't been back to that store since, but today I was in the area so I decided to stop in to check out the Sportspicks (always keeping an eye out for chase figures for Ed and Vic).

They didn't have anything to speak of re: Sportspicks (well, NASCAR figures were 50% off, and I have to admit that was tempting - I like those bases). On my way to the door I spotted the Cy Com figures on a lower shelf (they were back!) and did a double-take at the price...$2.99! Holy shit! I grabbed all four figures and went to check out. Turns out these toys were 50% off, so I got four 12" figures for $6.48 TOTAL! [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] That's insane.

Only thing close I can remember that happened to me: Grabbing a discount $6 12'' Battle Droid at a walmart, only it rang up at $1 at the register.

Hope this doesn't stop any hearts, but last weekend I saw a 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime (grey gun) at Wal-Mart for $35. I passed (don't collect Transformers), but couldn't believe it was marked down already (in fact, that's the only one I've even seen around here).
